How To Make The Most Out Of Your Hairprint Experience

1. Discontinue use of all hair products (shampoo, conditioners, styling products, treatments and oils)
2. Use our Chelating Shampoo 1-2 times in that week, leave the shampoo on for 5 minutes, then rinse.  If you like, follow with Hairprint Conditioner. If you notice that after using the Chelating Shampoo your hair feels sticky or oily. That means it’s working, so don’t worry, just follow up with a second cleanse to help remove excessive build up.
3. If you simply have to wash your hair in the week leading up to using the Hairprint True Color Restorer, use Hairprint Daily Shampoos and Conditioners as needed during this time. If you do not have these available, you can substitute with baking soda as shampoo and apple cider vinegar as a conditioning rinse.

Discontinue using the Hairprint Conditioners (they contain lovely natural oils) and be mindful of any skincare products used close to the hairline and sideburns.

Wash with Chelating Shampoo, leave on 5 minutes and rinse. Do not follow with any other products.

If you have made the switch to our Hairprint daily hair care, and have discontinued using styling products, you can start preparing your hair with the 3 Days Before Application rule. This is ONLY the case after your initial detox and initial application. If you choose to go back to or use conventional hair care, then you will need to do the full 7-day detox before each application.
